Court substitution — other cities of the Warsaw appeal region
The Warsaw appeal region has an unusual structure compared with the rest of the country — it covers only two regional courts, both in Warsaw itself: the Regional Court in Warsaw and the Warsaw-Praga Regional Court in Warsaw. Beyond the capital, which has its own page, both circuits nevertheless include a network of district courts serving the densely populated ring of counties around the city — Piaseczno, Pruszków, Grodzisk, Legionowo, Nowy Dwór, Wołomin and Otwock. It is an area with a distinctive profile: proximity to Warsaw generates a heavy caseload, while the local legal market is often much smaller than in the capital itself, which can make finding a substitute on the spot harder than in the centre. Wokanda handles court substitutions in all of these cities on the same terms as in Warsaw — you publish a job specifying the court, prosecutor's office or police station, and verified substitutes from the area come to you.
Regional Court in Warsaw — surrounding counties
Beyond Warsaw itself, the Regional Court in Warsaw covers three district courts in the neighbouring counties.
Piaseczno
The District Court in Piaseczno serves the town and the Piaseczno county — one of the most densely populated and fastest-growing counties in Poland, directly bordering southern Warsaw. Heavy investment and property-development activity in the area translates into regular demand for substitutions in civil and commercial cases.
Pruszków
The District Court in Pruszków serves the town and the Pruszków county, west of Warsaw.
Grodzisk Mazowiecki
The District Court in Grodzisk Mazowiecki serves the town and the Grodzisk county.
Warsaw-Praga Regional Court — surrounding counties
Beyond right-bank Warsaw, the Warsaw-Praga Regional Court in Warsaw covers four district courts.
Otwock and Józefów
The District Court in Otwock jointly serves the towns of Otwock and Józefów and the municipalities of Celestynów, Karczew, Kołbiel and Wiązowna — the entire Otwock county. It is one of the courts where court substitution is particularly useful in sudden situations — the considerable distance from central Warsaw means getting your own counsel there on time can be difficult.
Wołomin
The District Court in Wołomin serves the town and the Wołomin county, east of Warsaw.
Legionowo
The District Court in Legionowo serves the town and the Legionowo county, directly north of the capital.
Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki
The District Court in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki serves the town and the Nowy Dwór county, at the confluence of the Vistula and the Narew.
Court substitution before prosecutors and at police stations in the region
Just as in Warsaw itself, procedural substitution in the surrounding counties covers not only the courts, but also actions before district prosecutor's offices and at the police stations competent for the individual counties. Urgent interrogations — whether in pre-trial proceedings or following an arrest — call for a substitute who is available quickly and close to the place of the action, which in smaller, dispersed centres can be harder to arrange than in the capital itself. Wokanda lets you find a court substitute matched by location to the specific county, not just to Warsaw.
How court substitution through Wokanda works in the Warsaw region
The client publishes a substitution job: they specify the court, prosecutor's office or police station, the date and time of the action, the required status of the substitute and the net rate. Verified substitute counsel from the region — whose status is checked against the public KRAIA and IRP registers — signal their availability, accepting the proposed rate or making a counter-offer. The client selects one substitute, after which a chat opens to settle the details. Settlement runs through Stripe: the client adds VAT and the service fee on top, and the provider of the substitution receives the full net rate plus VAT, with no deductions.
Posting procedural substitutions in the Warsaw region — for clients
If you run a law firm in Piaseczno, Pruszków, Otwock, Wołomin or another city of the Warsaw region and need an urgent court substitute, Wokanda lets you post a job in a few minutes. Jobs are sorted by distance from the specified institution, so the system shows the substitutes genuinely closest to the given court, prosecutor's office or police station — without having to bring someone in all the way from central Warsaw.
Taking on court substitutions in the Warsaw region — for providers
If you are an advocate, attorney-at-law or trainee practising in one of the counties around Warsaw, Wokanda gives you access to jobs published by law firms from across the region — including from the capital itself, when a job concerns a court closer to your location than to the centre. You only see jobs matching your specialisation, location and availability.
