Security & privacy
Wokanda was built for lawyers. Your clients' data deserves better than a Facebook group, where content is profiled for ads. Below – without the marketing jargon – is how we protect your conversations and documents.
Data encryption
Message bodies are encrypted in our database (AES-256-GCM), and attachments are encrypted at rest in file storage. That means backups and database dumps never contain your conversations in readable form.
Transparent moderation
To resolve disputes and act on abuse, an authorised moderator may, in justified cases, open the conversation tied to a listing. Every such access is logged. This is a deliberate choice: a substitution marketplace between lawyers needs dispute resolution, and that requires visibility into what the parties agreed.
Your files, your visibility
In every conversation you see an access log: who downloaded the attached files and when – including moderator access. We don't know another platform for lawyers that shows this openly.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, don't profile it for ads, and don't share it with third parties for marketing. Data is used solely to run the service.
In fairness: this is not end-to-end encryption – in the justified cases above (disputes, abuse, legal obligation) the platform can read the content, and every such access stays logged. We don't claim otherwise.
